Overnight into Nov 2, refrigeration controls at supermarkets in several countries were remotely switched into defrost, pushing freezer temperatures to about 50 to 55°C and forcing stores to dump food; some stores closed. Named chains in reports: ICA and Coop (Sweden), Delhaize, Carrefour and Spar (Belgium), SuperValu (Ireland), Selver (Estonia), K-stores (Finland). Reuters and BleepingComputer report it as a cyberattack; Sweden's and Belgium's national cyber centres are looking into it. It follows the October attack on 300+ stores in France. Suspected route: old internet-exposed cooling controllers.
