Quest learned on October 21 that an intruder had accessed Quanum Lab Services Manager, the portal physicians and hospital staff use to order tests and view results, and believes some patient records were exposed. It stopped the system, paused Essential Insights and LabHQ, and told customers to use paper requisitions or Quanum eLabs. Data types and counts are still being determined; no group has claimed it.
