PHP2Shell exploited in the wild four days before patches, Amazon honeypots show
Severity 7PatchedconfirmedWeb servers and gateways

Amazon Threat Intelligence's MadPot honeypots logged attempts against the then-secret PHP2Shell flaws on Saturday October 17 from an anonymized IP, with varied payloads suggesting multiple actors. Cloudflare also saw unsuccessful attempts before disclosure. Amazon says it is unclear how the actor obtained exploit details during the embargo.

What to do: Patches shipped October 21; question of how details leaked remains open.
